HubSpot Website Grader
This one is a really quick and user friendly way to review a site’s performance, SEO, mobile readiness, and security. It’s a great pre-audit tool and can help you unlock potential in a site. It gives you basic breakdowns and a gauge of what needs improving.
Meta Ads Library
Want to see what your competitors or other big brands are doing? This is a goldmine. I use it to provide competitor analysis but also to inspire ideas for client content and ads. It also helps set benchmarks for how much activity you should be running on Meta to compete.
Google Ads Preview and Diagnostics Tool
Essential for checking your ads, where and how they’re showing. Also handy for spotting sneaky disapprovals, coverage gaps and SERP competitors. You will need an Ads account to access this tool.
Exploding Topics & Google Trends
I usually use these to prove or disprove any hypotheses I have around search interest levels, market trends and seasonality affecting performance. You can also use them to help inspire content or just see if what’s trending could be aligned to your business.
Google Ads Keyword Research Tool
I use this to pull real keyword data. It shows estimate search volume, competition, and CPCs. You can also use a competitors website to see what keyword gaps you might have in your account. It’s also really useful if you’re sense-checking your keywords, content ideas or if there is demand for your business.
These tools are super practical and genuinely useful (if you know how to use them). f you're a digital marketer or small business owner looking to get more from your marketing (without shelling out for another subscription), this toolkit is a great place to start.
